Last year, the Bible App recorded that our church collectively spent over 10,000 days opening up the word of God digitally! In 2026, we’re inviting you to spend the year in God’s Word together with MCC through a reading plan called “One Story That Leads to Jesus.”
This plan guides us through the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, helping us see Scripture not as disconnected stories, but as one unified story that leads to Jesus. Each day includes a manageable portion of Scripture, making it possible to build a steady, life-giving rhythm of reading. This isn’t about checking boxes or keeping pace with others. It’s about showing up, day by day, and allowing God’s Word to shape us.
PLAN BEGINS ON MONDAY, JANUARY 5, 2026
We want this plan to be accessible to everyone, so there are two ways to join in:
1. Digital Reading Plan (YouVersion App) Download the YouVersion Bible App on your smartphone and join the One Story That Leads to Jesus plan through our churches page. Read along with others from MCC and stay on track with daily reminders. Access optional devotionals and videos produced by The Bible Project **Even if you choose this digital option, we encourage you to still open your physical Bible and read from it.
2. Printed Reading Plan: Download the plan and print it at home, or pick up a printed booklet at any MCC gathering in 2026: At the New Here Table or at the Resource Wall in the Commons. Stick this plan in your Bible and open it up each day.
